Proverbs 11:24-25 KJV “There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. [25] The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.”
There is the soul that is generous, blesses others, shares what they have, and although they are giving so much they still become wealthier and richer. On the contrary, there are those who hoard, have big bank accounts, lots of things, and never give.
In all of their hoarding and greed, they actually remain poor and get poorer. They remain in need of basic resources. This is why the liberal soul will be made fat or full; they will become prosperous. As we fill others, so will we become filled!

15 He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.
16 A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.
17 The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.
18 The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.
