Verse of the Day, April 14, 2020
2 Corinthians 9:11-12 KJV “Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;”
If the saying we reap what we sow is true, then men ought to reap bountifully because they sow just as bountiful. The more important thing is to do so according to your hearts’ desire and purpose.
Don’t up your gift because someone else gave more, or lower it because people are giving less. Don’t give grudgingly or out of necessity. A ministry thrives by the freewill gifts of those who feel compelled to give to it; your devotion to Christ will continue the work of any noble cause and ministry of Christ.
