Create in Me a Clean Heart and Renew a Right Spirit

Verse of the Day, January 20, 2021

Psalm 51:10 KJV “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

This is the prayer we all should pray at least once a week (me once a day). Have mercy upon me, O GOD, according to your lovingkindness and blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. I acknowledge my transgressions and sin because they are ever before me. I have sinned against you only and have done this evil in Your sight.

GOD, You are justified when you speak Your judgments against me. Remember I was shaped in iniquity and my mother conceived me in sin, so purge me with hyssop and I will be clean.

Hide Your Face From My Sins

Wash me and I will be whiter than snow; make me hear joy, happiness, and gladness so my bones rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, O LORD, and blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O my GOD, and renew a right spirit within me Cast me not away from Your presence, and please do not take away Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and give me Your free spirit.

Then I will teach transgressors Your ways and sinners will be converted unto You, the ALMIGHTY. We offer this in the name of Your well-beloved SON, the LAMB of GOD, the MESSIAH. Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

Psalm 51 King James Version

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
