The Way of a Fool is Right in His Own Eyes

Verse of the Day, November 4, 2019

Proverbs 12:15 KJV “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.”

This does not mean that every time we do something on our own and not seek counsel that we are fools. On the contrary, it is when we are being corrected by wisdom, but we become headstrong to do things the way “we” personally want to do them, based on how “we” see the situation.

This is when this proverb takes on its on true meaning. The fool is right in his own eyes, his way is right, but those who listen to counsel is wise.
