Take Fast Hold of Instruction and Don't Let It Go

Verse of the Day, October 19, 2019

Proverbs 4:10-13 KJV “Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. [11] I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. [12] When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. [13] Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.”

Hear O sons and daughters of the Great King; receive His sayings and teachings with gladness and humility. Lengthen the years of your life with the wisdom and knowledge from on high.

The Almighty has taught us many good things in wisdom, He has led us in great righteous paths. When we walk, we walk boldly without restrain; we run without stumbling.

Our job and responsibility to ourselves, each other, and our Creator is to take strong hold of instruction, especially golden instruction, without letting it go. Why? It is because instructions from the Almighty is our very lives!
