Happy is the Man that Finds Wisdom | A Word from God

Verse of the Day, September 15, 2019

Proverbs 3:13 KJV “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.”

Although it is quoted that much wisdom and knowledge brings grief and sorrows (Ecclesiastes 1:18), at the same time the person who actually finds wisdom and gets an understanding of things, the world, etc., is really happy.

Deep inside, when we obtain wisdom and understanding, we usually come to understand our purpose. We obtain our purpose and the LORD’s purpose for us and the world altogether.

Knowing our purpose is one of the most gratifying, joyous, and rewarding things one could know. This is why such a person is HAPPY. If you haven’t found yours yet, keep seeking; seek in truth.

The Almighty will share with you, wisdom and understanding and you will be so happy and grateful.

Praise God today!

  1. Wisdom and knowledge are two integral virtues that we all must-have for us to scale through the hurdles of life. But getting it rightly from God is a matter of working closer to Him and with Him. Wisdom and knowledge help us to walk according to the will of God and to discover our purpose on earth. Only very few get to access this because it comes at a price of sacrificing our life to discipline and commitment to the study of the word of God

    1. You are so right Rodarrick, purposes are established by counsel and wisdom. Thank you for commenting and stopping by today!

  2. I have to agree that having wisdom and understanding is one of the most gratifying things that one can feel in the world today. Knowing more about the world and knowing one’s purpose, that is the gain of wisdom but one should know their limit because it is the search for excess wisdom that caused many people to their doom. We pray God guides us right and gives us only his wisdom.

    1. Hey John, thank you for stopping by the website today and for your unique comment; wisdom and purpose are all too important today!

  3. Our joy is in the Lord God. Our God is a God of wisdom who knows it all, understands it all and is wiser than the wisest. He is the giver of wisdom and only if we get closer to Him by studying his words can we be granted wisdom to help us discover who we are, what we are. Wisdom is of God and we must strive to get it because that is the armor needed in this life.
