Receive the Promise After You’ve Done the Will of God

Verse of the Day, September 18, 2019

Hebrews 10:36 KJV “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”

What is the promise? Many people are so busy in life that they have lost track of the promise or have never even visited the question, what is the promise? What am I doing all of these works for?

The promise, mainly, points to the Kingdom of Heaven, here on earth for those the Almighty redeems. This is why we need patience. The writer in Hebrews says that we need to have patience so that after we’ve done well and the will of God, we may receive the promise of the Kingdom.

Receive the Promise After You’ve Done the Will of God

Patience begins with ourselves, our spouses, our children, our coworkers, community, and so on. We must have the patience to wait on the LORD to return things as they were. This is the patience of the saints!
